Nah, that was back in February. Actually a lot less snow than I expected for that time of year. I'm just so backlogged on my photos that I'm just now going through some older stuff.

Fantastic image! If I could be so bold to suggest one thing, crop out some of the top and bottom to focus on the fire in the sky and beach.

Yeah I need to crop the empty sky out and trim it a little but I have about 1000 of this night, I’d be here for days!

I got into stock photography several years back, but I hate editing so bad that I quit haha. I still sell some on the sites, but doing it for profit took the fun out of it for me.

Gotcha. I'm no pro by any means and I've never sold a shot...though some say I should. I was just offering a suggestion that probably I shouldn't have without knowing you. I see so many shots here an elsewhere that with just a little tweak can go from "nice" to "fantastic". But, that makes me assume that my vision of an image is better that someone else's, novice or experienced. And in that, it really isn't my place unless someone is asking for input.

Still, that shot calls to me. Something about the black sands (though they aren't black) and the reflection and lines leading me to the horizon. Was this out on the spit?

It was on the beach at Anchor Point. Great place for sunsets and pictures.
