Pheasants on BMA or grouse in NF

If you had an afternoon to kill in Western Montana, how would you rather spend it? Kicking fields for pheasants or climbing hills for grouse? I have a dog, but his field experience is somewhat limited. Let me know what you think is more likely to put some birds on the menu!

Depends on where you are and the weather, I guess. Personally I'm more of a pheasant hunter but I can see the attraction of getting up high as well.
