What materials are you building it out of? Not a meat pole but have built a couple of ranch entrances using timbers/telephone poles. Biggest thing I would say is make sure the vertical supports are buried deep enough to support the weight/force of pulling animals up. The last one we did was I believe 14 to bottom of cross beam. Buried verticals 5ft. 16-18" diameter telephone poles.

I've seen a couple meat poles that when pulling animals up leaned or swayed. Being as tall as you are thinking really think out your supports.

We built a steel one many years ago. It is about 12' to bottom of the cross bar as we only hang deer from it. Our verticals are 6" round (qty 3). We buried them 4' deep and concreted them in ( about a 2' diameter hole and we filled the tube with concrete). Not sure on exact width but it can fit about 8 deer without them touching. The cross bar is a steel beam with eyelets to attach gambrel. It doesn't move while hanging a deer.
