Peep height issues with different releases - need advice

So I’ve been shooting a Nock2it for a long time and really like it. I tried the 2smooth and it’s just ok as I wanted to start using a hinge to make my shots cleaner. I got an Ibex and love it but I am having some issues with feeling like the peep height is off. I’ve had my wife take a picture of me from the side with both and can’t see a real difference. I’ve even tried shortening the d loop. I’m going to try to go see my buddy at the bow shop but wanted to ask y’all if y’all had any ideas

Every release is gonna feel different and most likely shoot different. I'm not sure what a shop would do for you in this situation. There's not much you can do. What I would do is move your peep. If you are gonna use a hinge from now on get that release dialed in. What I would do if I were you is switch your release to a hinge in the off season and get your peep where you want it. And then work on your shot in the off season. And then a couple months before season go back to the button and get your setup dialed in to that release for hunting season.

Without pictures it's hard to say.

A peep should be set up at medium yardage, maybe half of your max range.

Remember one thing with archery, you change one thing, and it can change everything. Using a bunch of different releases is not a great idea. Using two different handhelds that are identical except maybe one being a button and the other a hingecan be OK. But changing things greatly will be problematic.

Thanks guys. I’m really trying to decide if I’m switching totally to the hinge or not. I love how it is stacking arrows and the shots feel great. I just don’t trust myself with it enough to commit to it. I’ll finish deer season and then dive in to it
