IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PAYPAL

PayPal has decided THEY know what's best for YOUR purchases.

Effective immediately, PayPal has FORBIDDEN us from allowing you to purchase firing pins or triggers using their payment service.

Apparently, your right to buy legal firearm components doesn't sit well with their corporate agenda.

We find this overreach completely unacceptable, but we won't let it stop us from serving you. Other payment options are available at checkout for these items.

Yeah there are a lot of items you can't buy anymore using paypal. I made a purchase on Optics planet and half of my order could not be ran through paypal. I'll be closing mine out soon.

That and I've seen a lot of horror stories about using Zelle and Venmo plus other means of money transfers. I always wonder if maybe PP and their employees are the source of these stories. I have used Zelle for a few years when I could without a problem.

Paypal owns Venmo FYI.

PayPal has been anti-firearms for a long time (excerpt below from Acceptable Use Policy dated 2022). Perhaps PP just recently started actually enforcing the “certain firearms parts or accessories” prohibition against EGW, but that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone familiar with PP.

“You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:
  1. violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation.
  2. relate to transactions involving . . . (j) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (k) certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law.”

I closed paypal several years ago, most of them are likely anti 2a but at least you can still use them, sucks due to no coverage for purchase.

The powers that be clearly do not want folks exchanging goods without them knowing about, firearm related or not!

Its been their policy for a long time regarding firearms related items hasn't it?
Basically forever.

I've always assumed that it's at least in part because they're international. Less headache for them to just not allow it, than not allow it in some places.

And almost guaranteed that their top executive management team has private ARMED security.
