...to honor those who lost their lives.

Our collective passion on this forum for the outdoors and hunting is a wondrous life-style and shared kindred together for sure! However, as a former Marine and war zone veteran, I always pause, and will never forget on this day, those who didn't come back home afterwards as I and most others did.

Live life to the fullest my fellow hunters, enjoy the day, and get out there in the field! We are all so very fortunate!!!

Well said. Thanks to all that have served and thanks & prayers to the families of those we honor with this Day!

I encourage everyone to make memorial day personal. Find a soldier who was killed in action, learn thier name, possibly hang thier picture at an event your having today, but most importantly never forget them.

Ill never forget standing in formation at the foot of Gen. Patton resting place in the Americana cemetery in Luxembourg on this day 4 years ago. The ceremony held by the Luxembourg citizens to honor our fallen and the sacrifices they made was amazing.
