It seems an ember burnt a tiny whole in the fly of my SL5 on my last trip. What patch kits or other techniques have you guys used and like?

For a tiny hole, a dab of sil-net on both sides has worked for me. The first day I had my SL3 it was set up in the yard. A bird landed on top of it and shortly my cat went up the side of it after the bird. Not one tear, but several tiny holes to patch. Sil-net patched them nicely.

Oh, and the cat has a new home......

Tenacious and silnet both work depending. I've had a cat do the exact same thing

How would fix such a thing in the field? Tenacious tape seems to not stick to well if the fabric wet. Anyone try something like seam sealer?

Spent last week in a Kifaru 6 Man T and am exploring options on getting something similar for myself.

For ember burns I use a small dab of aquaseal. The regular stuff if I am repairing at home for long term fix, in the field its aquaseal UV. Anything bigger than a pinhole I do the inside with Kenyon repair tape or tyvek tape and the outside with aquaseal. Worked fine so far.
