Parking along Public Roads in WY

Is it legal to leave your truck along side the road in Wyoming and hunt public land? Truck will be parked on the shoulder at a spot where BLM crosses the road? This could be during the day or overnight.

Yep, keep it out of traffic flow. You might leave a note on the dash if its a well traveled road, paved so the cops don't tag it. Left many a rig on the side of the road in many states. Yep I called it a rig for you non rig kind of guys.

I asked this question to a Wyo warden a couple years ago. He said as long as you are well out of the way of traffic, but not making your own 2 track, you'll be fine.

Legal. Drive through the Bighorns during hunting season. There will be one every 200 yards.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you're parking along side a State Hwy, if that's that case and you're planning more tan day use I would ask the local Hwy department.

State Highways don't matter. Drive across 14 during hunting season.
