Paper Tuning - Has me puzzled…

just a slight change in your grip, how the bow sits in your hand and induces torque, can really affect the arrow flight. If you shim and you still have the same issue its how you are gripping the bow and not the bow itself. I can change my grip just a bit and go from a bullet hole to 1"+ tears in paper and broadheads apart from field points.

Been paying attention to that as I shoot but I will do some tweaking. Thanks.

I apologize if this was already answered, I skimmed through and didn’t see it anywhere.
Looks like you’re shooting 400 spine arrows. You need to get 340’s as a starting point. You can start by cutting them 0.50” longer than your draw length (carbon to carbon).If you’re running normal aluminum inserts and 100 grain points, that should be the right spine.

I would put that bow back to factory spec and try the 340’s before you touch anything. Hoyts typically tune better with a slightly stiffer spine.
