Haha, this is true. The nice thing about needing short pants is that you can always turn long pants into short pants. Vice versa is much more difficult.
From my experience with most companies, their default is 32", and 34's are their Talls. Sometimes their tall's are 36"......but in the process they then shortened the rise and the overall length is still too short.I always found it odd that companies default was a 34" inseam. I would have thought 32" would be more appropriate. Good luck in the pants search.

Kings has some optionsHey fellow short guys. I'm looking to buy a pair of lightweight, side vented, dwr coated pants for archery elk here in colorado. I'm willing to buy from one of the "fancy" hunting brands, as I've had plenty of cheaper pants that were ok until they weren't. I'd like a pair with a good lifetime warranty (pnuma, skre, kuiu, etc) and i understand that all those warranties are based on me having realistic expectations. Anyway, what brands have you found that have pants that are 31-32" waist and 28-29" inseam? I'm striking out on the inseam part. Alternatively, if there is a brand that would still honor the warranty on the rest of the pants even if I hem them, that works too. Bonus if they are solid color. Thanks!
