Any experience with the Born Primitive frontier light pants? Looking for a light, comfortable, somewhat stretchy and fast drying pants for September elk hunts. I use Prana Zions now but looking for something a little more durable. Kuiu Attack pants don’t fit me right. Thanks in advance!

My favorites are still my Prana Stretch Zion Straight pants. I find a lot of hunting pants feel like they are parachute pants and catch on everything in the woods. I do have a pair of Kuiu Kutana pants that are in my rotation for early season. I like that the waist on them has some stretch so it doesn't matter what layers i have on under they'll always fit and they aren't too bulky.

Stitching on the Prana's can be poor but I think they're still my favorite as I can wear them year round.

Thanks for the info! Are the kutana durable enough to handle minor brush/sage?

I like the look of the Born Primitive Frontier light pants (especially for the price.) My current pants are First Lite Corrugate Foundry. I like the features of the first lite pants, and for me the fit is spot on. So far the First Lite pants have been great. When its close to time to replace them Im probably going to get a pair of Born Primitives for comparison at least. Maybe sooner if I can find a deal on them.

I'll wear Tiburon's over Kutana's every time for warm weather hunts. Never had a durability problem with them in the high country. Still plenty durable for me down in the desert and Coues mtns.

My hunting pant that fits that description are made by Origin USA. Light, allow movement and dry fast. For later in September when the weather cools I’m still wearing my 10 year old Sitka Mountain pant.

I have use the Kuiu Katanas for many years and they have held up well busting the north Idaho brush. I don’t care for the thigh pockets because they are a little too small IMO.

The GTFO mountain pant, they are my favorite September pants, I wish they had a back pocket, but it’s not a big deal

Kick ass pants though
