panel load vs top load pack

hi I don't have any experience with a panel loading packs, I do however have several top loading packs. I would like to hear what others that have experience with panel loaders have to say. thanks

I used to have a Kifaru Siwash back in the day (panel loading.). It was a cool pack. I liked it. It was like a suit case for packing you could imagine.
I sold it. But regret it.
Have top loading packs now. No complaints.

I like panel load packs or top loaders with a side or front zipper for quick access. Cant stand digging through a 7000+ci top load only bag looking for something.

i currently have a kifaru express with 3 1000ci lock and dock pouches and a grab it but i was thinking of going a bit larger. i don't need anything bigger than say 4500ci to 5000ci. I am looking at getting a kifaru siwash, I was also looking at a timberline t3 or maybe a t2 if i can find one.

I have always used the top loaders (LH, KU, Highcamp 7000) but am considering an EMR to use in combination with the hanging meat bag for better access of the stuff in the pack.
