Any disadvantage or advantage to shooting 120gr or 130gr in my 6.5cm ???

I was given a savage M11 predator hunter, and am studying what is the best ammunition
I’m NOT very keen on heavy for caliber (140+ grain ) because of the rainbow arch trajectory of them
So I would like to hear examples of using 120gr +130gr
I usually hunt deer and aoudad, pronghorn, Africa, and know zero people who have a 6.5 cm so am seeking advice,

The 130 TMK is one of the “super-bullets” that the match bullet crowd likes for hunting. Folks are shooting elk with them, and should be a flatter trajectory than the 140, so thats an option. I haven’t personally used any. The Hornady ELDM 130s shoot fine out of my rifle as well, I’m using more of the 140s for practicing but I don’t know that I would split hairs too much.
Ive been using the 127gr lrx and 120gr federal copper for a few years, the usual rokslide caveats about mono bullets apply, but so far nothing has happened that wasnt exactly as expected. Of the two I prefer the Barnes, mostly they’re just easier to find and they shoot a little better out of my rifle, but I haven’t shot enough critters with either to really compare. A buddy of mine shot an elk with the 127LRX last year at about 250 yards, it died fine. If you’re looking for a controlled expansion bullet like an Accubond or something like that I don’t have much experience, except at point blank range they should be totally fine on medium sized game at least.

Sure, 120 or 130 bullets will work fine if you use them as intended, but I sure don’t understand your “rainbow” argument.

I don’t know, they just aren’t very popular in my area (solid heavy brush and cactus ) and I have only had one clients daughter that shot a 260rem on a pronghorn hunt that I remember.

I have used and like the 130TGK for eastern whitetail. All shots have been less than 300yds. Pushing close to 2900fps with reloads. I’ve not shot factory 120-140gr
