Painless load development (mine)

I shoulda measured when I had it in front of me, but I think more like ~1” down ~0.5” right

26” Carbon benchmark in 6 creed.

First 8 down the barrel. 108 ELDM & 41gr. H4350. 2.800” COAL

I always just shoot a group wherever it lands, after bore sighting. I like to see how the first few round down the barrel act without dialing turrets. This one should be….. fine.

Which bergers are you trying and how did they shoot. That first group is impressive!
I tried the 109 LRHT and 105 Hybrid. The SAAMI freebore on the 6 creed has them jumping pretty good, just to be a seat them a modest ways in the case neck. But they both shot pretty decent really. Going to spend more time with the 109 LRHT’s for sure.

You switching carbon barrels?
I can’t help but keep trying things. I’ll have one more carbon cut in 6.5-7 PRC. And the rest are still steels.

Here’s a 21 shot group I shot with my 7-300 NMI and 195 Berger’s, between shooting the 6CM….. that’s a steel kreiger.

i think you groups are tighter with the 7-300 NMI 😂

What speeds are you getting with that 7-300?

Cmon man…. Now you’ve got me questioning everything I learned from Bryan litz’ TOP gun theory. (Theory of precision) Absolutely insane shooting, good work man.

Hahaha it has a good muzzle brake and is decently heavy (11.25lbs). Most of it just has to do with the rifle build itself, not really me. I don’t mind showing that it can be done though. That was off a hatch bipod. I left the sled clamped to the 6CM

What do you mean by this?

Those are some NICE groups by the way.
The lands are constantly eroding and velocity drops continuously. Mostly because I can’t help but shoot N570. H1000 and N565 are pretty mild and keep a stable load for a longer round count. I had a good load with 180 hybrids and N565 originally. Shot about 100 rounds of N570 and 195’s and it pushed the lands out so far that my original 180 load wouldn’t even build enough pressure to expand the case neck before getting to the lands when I switched back to it. Cases were covered in soot from not building enough pressure to seal to chamber.

Basically, there’s always ****ing something to deal with if you don’t baby it and leave it alone… which I can’t do apparently lol
