Just got back from my first western hunt chasing mule deer, (got within 150 but couldn’t close the gap), based out of the truck and hiked about 25 miles over the week and now I’ve got a weird tenderness under my big toes almost like they’re bruised. Have any of you felt this? Is it just because my feet are green maybe?
Wore a couple diff pair of crispis with Superfeet insoles. No real issues other than that.

That is not a lot of miles to cause foot pain, maybe the Crispi are too tight in the toes?
I don’t think so, I’ve put quite a few miles on them (more than this trip) and not had any issues. If they were too snug my ingrown would likely flare up. I’m leaning towards just being in a significantly different terrain than I am used to but idk

I noticed a couple weeks ago when I hiked in to an area for scouting, about five miles with about 66 lbs on my pack, my feet were somewhat sore which is pretty unusual for me with my Crispi Colorado boots. Two things that probably contributed to it were the hardness of the trail from a lack of rain leading up to my hike plus some rocky ground and hiking in different boots than I normally trained in all summer which were Crispi Summit GTX. I train right from my house and most of the area is softer ground/grass in storm runoff areas.
