Pac Boots Heel Height?

After a near frostbite incident I am looking to get a pair of pac boots. For now I've narrowed my choices down to either Kenetrek or Hoffman.

I usually wear heeled boots(2" heel cowboy boots normally) because of a previous surgery that changed my gait forever. Could any Kenetrek/Hoffman pac owner let me know how high the heels on yours are? Thanks.

Get whichever you prefer and you can have a cobbler add a block under the heal if you need more height. All pacs for the most part use the same style rubber bottom with a smiliar glued on sole. I’m guessing they will all have similar heel height. Out of the 20 or so people I know with pacs, Hoffman is the standout.

I've had a pair of double-insulated Hoffman Guide boots for 4 seasons now. I've been very happy with them.

You won’t beat the customer service from Hoffman’s. They build their pacs here in Idaho. Give them a call.

Hoffman's for sure! I have the Hoffman's Thins - Pro series claw lug sole and love them. Just measured the rear of the heal on mine at 1 1/2".

If you need a bit more cold feet protection this might work better. Felt Voyager Claw Lug.

Or the Double Insulated Mountaineer boot.
