Hey everyone! Pennsylvania native here. Started hunting the West every year the last 4-5 years. Every day i have thought "one day i am going to move out West"

Well with no kids in my later 20s.. I am finally making it happen. I am going to hunt my September tags in CO and Idaho, come back to PA then make the move in mid October! Already have a job lined up and hoping to lock down an apartment on my way to my elk hunt.

I know a few guys in the area but am always looking to connect with more people. I am also huge into ultra running as well and cannot wait to start getting some miles in in the foothills!

Send me a PM if anyone here is from the Boise area and is looking for someone to hunt with, shoot bows, run some miles, and throw some weights around some time (I literally dont do anything else besides those things I listed lol)

I made a move west 35 years ago and never regretted it. Bear in mind, however, Idaho was less than half as populated as it is now, and Boise is getting flooded with people from the left coast - big time.
True i understand. I am sure best time was years ago. But second best time is ASAP !

Good on you. Moving can seem intimidating but it's really just some short term logistics and then you're done. Late 20s is a perfect time to do it too.

ETA - a lot of guys are probably going to dog on Boise, but it's going to be a great place to be young and single.
