Hello from PA, tuning up to go back out west this year for some high country mule deer in Colorado. Spent the last ten years or so growing my family and looking forward to hunting a bit harder again as the kids get older . I have experience in several eastern states for whitetail and black bear, and have hiked and fished in Colorado and Wyoming although my hunting experience in the west is limited.

We are about 15 minutes east of Harrisburg, near Fort Indiantown Gap if you are familiar with that.

Some of southern York county can be nice farm country. But I bet you were glad to get out if you were in the city. I drive delivery truck in many different areas in PA and the only time I have ever been scared for my safety was in York city.

Nice! I am from Elysburg, PA (hour north of Harrisburg) right by Knoebels! I live in Williamsburg, VA now but all my family is still there. Love to visit; especially during the 1st week of November. Haha. Good luck on your MD hunt!

Welcome! From Pa also. If you spent any time chasing bear in northern Pa, that will prepare you for hunting out west...just no air out there when you get up high. Have fun and good luck!
