Seems that I can only find a 2-Stage from Timney, and nothing else. I figure I am not looking (or Googling) the right terms. Any ideas on factory trigger replacements, ideally single stage?

What’s wrong with the original. A new spring to lighten it up is a $10 improvement.

Bix’n Andy make two models of aftermarket triggers for tikka. A lot of coin for little change.

I put in a Mountain Tactical spring for $9 and that Trigger is now one of my favorite triggers. I would try one of the trigger spring options first and then if you still don’t like it try something else. Cheap and effective though.

Ah, a new spring. That will work. Not sure why I didn't think of that. Thx.

Have you backed the trigger set screw all the way out to lighten the pull of factory trigger? If not, start there before you change out the spring. Might be able to lower it to an acceptable level doing that. I own 4 Tikkas and only had to replace the spring in one to get it down to where I wanted it (2 pounds).

One of the best factory triggers on the market. I'd follow the advise above with adjusting the screw (this is what I did on my .243), or get a YoDave or Mtn Tactical spring.
