Well Guys Good News !! The wife and I & the kids of course have managed to get 12 days off from work and plan to drive up to Colorado. I know it will be a great trip and I'm very thankful for the suggestions you have given. Should be a great time and maybe I will just get that short 1-2 day Scouting trip in after all.
