I would use this in a 7/300prc. ADG makes headstamped brass for it.Still waiting for Sierra to give us more information on this bullet. I would really like to see if it changes anything for what's best out there for hunting.

Waiting for sierra to give us the final specs on twist rate. I’m sure I can get it going around 2800 in the 7BC. I wonder what the BC will end up at also.I would use this in a 7/300prc. ADG makes headstamped brass for it.
I don't disagree that's some great ballistic performance. Not really after a hot rod magnum. I have a 338 Norma if I really want to push external ballistics. Looking to be more reasonable on recoil with my 7mm rifles. To ME a 7mm with good terminal and external ballistics and mild recoil is the goal. The high BC on these 7mm bullets lend to accepting slower velocities at the muzzle. The 185 tmk would be 3,000fps+ from the 7/300prc. People are getting 3200 from 24" barrel 28 Sherman Magnums with 195gr EOL which are essentially the same case with a 40° shoulder
Wow! Sweet test. How different was the penetratin? Did it look like the hybrid penetrated more because because it broke apart? The idea of penetration is always on my mind for getting into bear fights....Got out today with the Saum to test bullets at 500 yd in wet newspaper. The Hyb had more penetration, but the bullet channel of the TGK was huge with the wider mushroom ! View attachment 1039251
Probably so. I’m really curious on how it will perform with penetration. It's going to be devastating on game just like the rest of the TMK line
I think the ABLR is severely underrated. They were phenomenal in my 7 prcOrdered some Nosler ABLR found some factory 2nds on sale. Figured I'd post for others interested.

Do you have any pictures or results to share on game? From what I've been able to find they seem to hold together pretty well on those close shots which is always a factor for me.I think the ABLR is severely underrated. They were phenomenal in my 7 prc
250lb deer. No more than 100 yards. Have shot them as close as 20 yards. Great all around. 175grn. Excellent accuracy too.Do you have any pictures or results to share on game? That's an impressive wound cavity. Looks like you never recovered that bullet? Bigger holes than my 338 Norma magnum with the 250 LRX last year.250lb deer. No more than 100 yards.
