I would use this in a 7/300prc. ADG makes headstamped brass for it.Still waiting for Sierra to give us more information on this bullet. I would really like to see if it changes anything for what's best out there for hunting.

Waiting for sierra to give us the final specs on twist rate. I’m sure I can get it going around 2800 in the 7BC. I wonder what the BC will end up at also.I would use this in a 7/300prc. ADG makes headstamped brass for it.
I don't disagree that's some great ballistic performance. Not really after a hot rod magnum. I have a 338 Norma if I really want to push external ballistics. Looking to be more reasonable on recoil with my 7mm rifles. To ME a 7mm with good terminal and external ballistics and mild recoil is the goal. The high BC on these 7mm bullets lend to accepting slower velocities at the muzzle. The 185 tmk would be 3,000fps+ from the 7/300prc. People are getting 3200 from 24" barrel 28 Sherman Magnums with 195gr EOL which are essentially the same case with a 40° shoulder
