Just picked up a Razor HD 27-60x85 spotter. what are you guys packing to care for your optics?

I use the disposable lense wipes. I've seen too much lense damage over the years from grit stuck in reusable cleaning devises.

Matt who makes the disposal wipes you use? I've only ever seen the Swarovski ones

Justed ordered up some thanks. I keep some compressed air back at the truck I'd never use it on glass but it's nice to blow the grit out of the adjustment knob. It's also handy for getting all the dust out of a harness

It's way easier to dip the lenses in water and then simply dry with a lint free towel. Too many people wipe glass that has particles on the lens, dipping in water removes the particles.

Wow, all of these responses surprise me....except for 1. You might want to read up on how camera nuts clean their lenses, or even what the mfg. recommends.

Bingo PJG !!! But you can as the final step use lens cleaning solution, it's a diluted cleaner with lubricating properties...never a dry cloth, dry lens papers, or your damn Tee shirt. The best glass is the world is crap if it's dirty, and worse it's garbage if scratched up lenses from cleaning...and the mfg won't warranty that abuse either.

At least 1 member read his instruction manual :)

I think my lens cleaning habits will improve once I upgrade my glass. Hard to do everything the proper way in the field under realistic use in adverse weather. Been using the same pair of binos for 10 years now and I don't know how many times I've done a hasty clean job so that I could see through them immediately. Still clear with no noticeable damage. Pretty sure there was even a twig and some spit involved in more than one improvised cleaning session in the woods. Not recommended by the way.
