Opinions on OnX connected optics.

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to add a new(used) set of LRF binos to my kit. I’m between the Vectronix vector x and the Sig Kilo 10k gen 2. I’ve seen hints that Vectronix can be mapped out in OnX but not any solid proof.

Is the OnX connectivity worth it? Ease of use? Handiness? Thoughts and experiences are appreciated.

Sig Kilo 10K Gen 2 also drops a pin to OnX. After using it myself I find that simple LOS with OnX rangefinder mode is more accurate. Use terrain to ensure heading is dead on. My binos compass is a few degrees off even after calibrating.

Do you like the Gen 2’s? Or do you wish you would have gone with something else?

No regrets against options available last year. Buying today I’d look hard at the revics gen 2, new vortex talon and new leupold. Last two have bomb proof warranties but jury is out on speed of solution, glass, etc.

My Leica's I bought this year have a navigation function through the app I can use to get to a spot or I can use OnX to get a pin dropped with them. It was fun to play with this year but I don't know how much I will use it long term. I also had to calibrate my binos often, which could be due to the magnets on my bino pouch.

Have you seen leupold is coming out with one?
