Open sights and 200

Took the MRX to 200 with 100 of BH209 and 320 Fury. It's like an ez button. 10 inch round steel every time I pull the trigger.

I figure thats Elk lungs all day.

Sounds great! I put 2 in my elk with open sights. First at 190 and the second at 230. It was a rush for sure. Open sights is definitely different than hunting with a scope. Have a great hunt!

Have you ever rested a Thor sizer in your bore? My MRX is a .500 bore, curious if these fit since they are listed for .501-.502 bore.

My MRX sized at 0.501. Nice snug fit and very accurate.

I'm using 80 grains of swiss ffg and a no excuses 385 in my 45 caliber renegade with stainless Green Mountain barrel. With my peep and front I seem to do okay to 150 yards. My eyes are probably a bit older lol.

Sounds like several in this thread shooting really well. Hoping to punch a tag early and get to bird hunting.

Have you ever rested a Thor sizer in your bore? My MRX is a .500 bore, curious if these fit since they are listed for .501-.502 bore.

They fit tight but not overly tight.
