What about the Kuiu Kutana for September WY Elk?

Thinking about getting a pair but everyone loves the attack?

The old Alaios was bomb. Idk if the new ones are good. So far my new mtn pant and timberlines are ok. I punched a hole in the upper thigh of one of the pair of timberline after one rifle season. I really dont know how it happened but other than that they are a decent pant.

I can’t only have 2 pairs of pants for my wide range of hunting temps 85F to about -5F.

>25F: Eddie Bauer Guide pants (tons of other cheap options don’t need expensive hunting brands)

<25F: Kuiu Axis. I like their water proofness in snow and wind proof

I don't understand all the attack/mountain/ softshell weight favorites in here. Maybe I'm hunting wrong, but they're too hot for me. I can't walk 3 steps uphill in them. Sitka acsent or kryptek valhalla have been my ticket, wool undies if it's frosty, atom LT puffy pants if sitting around snow. I don't like thicker fabrics that take longer to dry, I'd rather have thin and dry than thick and wet.
