One and Done EDC handgun - looking for advice

I started out carrying a HK P7 and other medium sized pistols. I'm in a low crime area and the only use I've ever had for a pistol was killing snakes. It seems like the trend is getting larger and larger 9mm's where for a while we were trying to find the smallest CC possible. The G43 was nice, then the P365 came along and added some more capacity, then the line just got bigger and bigger. The Taurus View for example is just about perfect for me but was only made a short time. I had a Kimber Solo and the size was great but it functioned like garbage. The Ruger LCP in it's original form is probably perfect for most people, but then they made the 2.0 a little bigger and started adding more capacity so heavier. More bullets means more weight and the increased chance I'm just leaving it at home. I've pretty much settled on a Lightweight J frame now. I have a pocket holster, an owb with thumb snap for 4-wheeling/tractors etc, and an overkill iwb holster. I actually carry it and it's not too heavy. I've tried many good belts but they still give me back pain with a G19 sized carry due to the weight. I like small and light and easily concealed in shorts and a T-shirt which is my weather 10 months out of the year.

All that was just me meandering, to OP maybe look at the Shadow Systems, I own a larger one for range play but they have a G43 size version now too with a low rds mounting system.
