Older KOWA eyepiece ID

My father had 2 KOWA spotting scopes mounted in tandem for long range hunting…..in the mid 90’s. He traded the scopes after replacing the eyepieces. I am in the process of cleaning out the house since his passing and came across these eyepieces. Can anyone help identify them….and possibly suggest whether they could be useful to someone….or has the technology made them functionally obsolete?

These are exactly what it says on the tin/ box. They were used with the Kowa TSN1/2/3/4 range. The 3/4 being the Flourite versions and. 1/3 being angled with 2/4 being straight. They still hold up.

These eyepieces are compatible with the Kowa 661/2/3/4 range today. Will also work in 82SV or the 820 series using an adapter ring (EC1A). I believe another adapter ring will allow use in latest scopes though it would be sort of pointless.

Their performance isn’t as good as the new tech for sure , maybe 70% as good. They have a lot of field curvature but more than usable.

Sorry to hear about your father passing.

I don't know anything about that particular EP as it's not the current version of the 30x wide. Coatings and design might have changed.

Kowa does a decent job with their legacy product info. Search for System S.

Thanks for the help. Now to figure out if anyone can use one….Hate to throw them away. Not enough posts here to sell here, but the information will surely help in getting them to someone who might be able to use them/one.

I am fairly certain that I dont even have PM priviledges bc I dont have 10 posts. I have sold one on 24hrcampfire…..the last one is listed there.
