Ok you old timers..... Explain to me how the Dana Design K2.....

When I still skied a lot, his Bomb pack was one of my favorite designs he did.

Gotta love the Bomb Pack - it’s still my day hiking, fishing, snowshoeing pack. Any time now the waterproof coating may get sticky, but for now it’s still good to go. Lol

Yeah I can see how that wouldn't provide much lift, The one I have looks like it would work good I just don't plan on running the bag much. I think the easy fix is to just make some loops that I can run off the top bar that I can thread the lifter strap into.

Just saw this post and surprised how many still have their Danas. Still use my K2 longbed
