Almost all broadband noise will have a higher SPL reading with less weighting, what are you looking to glean?

I’m want to know he Z-weighting because that is all the sound that potentially affects me, not just the sound I can potentially hear.

It’s a 6.5mm (.264) caliber suppressor. I personally wouldn’t shoot a .277 bullet through it, but it is probably within the safety margin if you carefully checked with a bore guide.

Haven’t touched on this yet as I’ve been busy. It is a 6.5mm can and we cannot support and do not recommend shooting any bigger bullet through it than 6.5mm… with bigger bullets trying to go through it, baffle strikes are likely and are dangerous and you will damage the suppressor.

Nothing specific just in general. Couldn’t see myself with any more than a prc sized case for it.

Iv got one ordered with the group buy, excited to try it on my dasher for now and save some length.

Hard to say with that- but there is no functional length of barrel with a PRC case cartridge that is going to damage it.

What is the bore diameter of the can? I understand US's comment on 7mm through the can, that's what manufacturers have to say. But I've seen here and in the OG thread this kinda vague, it works it you're ok with the risk. Sounds like 30 cal bullets have been shot through this as well?

I don't believe so but don't claim to have seen / heard all info, I know here and the podcast they ran some 7mm (after confirming alignment) for testing purposes but that was it.

I got mine this afternoon.

7.3 ounces on my kitchen scale.

Suppressor cover adds 0.7 ounces.

Measures an honest 8”. That’s the bead blasted finish.

I’m very happy with how it looks and feels on my FN action .25-06. As much as I like stalking around the woods, I may have to spend a couple of evenings up on a hill top looking for a deer to shoot at longer range. A 28” overall barrel + suppressor length isn’t exactly a brush gun.

For what purpose?

At the front or rear?

I do have calipers, but I see no good reason to measure the opening at the front.

That’s on US’s website. It fits over 0.750” barrels.

My OG 6.5 is in my gun safe.
My gun safe is in the guest bedroom closet.
My probable future-mother-in-law is asleep in that bedroom.

Unless it’s a matter of life and death, I am not measuring that tonight.

Certainly not life or death, just a if you have time and remember thing.
I’m asking about out the front. I’m considering a US for a 7 SAW build. My post a few up asks the question. It’s been said it can be used for a .284 cartridge if you’ll accept the risk. I’m hoping to quantify what exact risk it’d be taking going that route with the OG6.5.
