"The Tikka T3x Lite Roughtech barrel profile, specifically the "D18" profile, is similar to a .730 muzzle threaded superlite palma barrel that is also fluted. The barrel tapers down to a .656 inch diameter just behind the threaded muzzle protector."It says "Up to .750” diameter barrels."
The issue is the M15 threads on the tikka. You need an adapter to go to 5/8s and risk loosing the adapter inside the suppressor if it came off the barrel threads. So wait, the OG doesn't fit the roughtech?
It would be sick if you could buy these through silencershop. I know they are using the silencershop environment, but I mean the same way I can buy every other brand through silencershop...like shipped to my dealer with no worries. A lot of my local FFL's are charging 200$ for NFA transfer fee and that's rough on top of the tax stamp. If it was distributed through silencershop there is no transfer fee and you can buy it right on their website. Hoping to see that as an option in a few years as the suppressor itself seems very awesome.
same...Ouch my SOT with kiosk is $100
Yeah...even that is 100$ more than I have spent on transfer fees for my last four cans I bought through SS. That's me sitting on my couch and then certifying the form online. One trip to go pick it up when its approved. I understand UM is a small business and they need the money up front just like the rokstoks but hopefully some day the suppressor side of it can be big enough to front some inventory to SS for ease of distribution! The design looks to have potential to be epic especially when they can incorporate a brake in the future.Ouch my SOT with kiosk is $100
I image they will eventually, probably need best margins for first 5 months to get back on top of printer cost.Yeah...even that is 100$ more than I have spent on transfer fees for my last four cans I bought through SS. Same. Mine here in Las Cruces charges $25Yall gotta find better dealers. Mine treats it like a firearm, $20.
Mine does firearms for $25 suppressor not so muchSame. Mine here in Las Cruces charges $25
Ditto. I think my LGS charges $40 for any firearm, or suppressor, shipped to them. My LGS is also my gun trust attorney, so there is some added cost - but that would be the case regardless of source.Yall gotta find better dealers. Mine treats it like a firearm, $20.
Being very optimistic, that law change won't take effect until 10/1/25, but it's more likely going to be 1/1/26 - if it passes without change.Secretly hoping US takes a few weeks to fulfill orders. Might save me $200.00. I have a feeling the run on suppressors, short term, might be insane.
I forgot it's our federal gov't. 2026 is probably optimistic. Maybe they will go retroactively and reimburse.Being very optimistic, that law change won't take effect until 10/1/25, but it's more likely going to be 1/1/26 - if it passes without change.
For me the $200 isn't the key, it's removing suppressors from the NFA - which will probably save me some coin in any future trust updates for new cans, etc. - assuming that isn't changed back in the future.I forgot it's our federal gov't. 2026 is probably optimistic. The suppressor purchase is becoming less and less urgent to me. Don't like the idea of a required adapter and the risk of it getting stick in there for any reason. The issue is the M15 threads on the tikka. You need an adapter to go to 5/8s and risk loosing the adapter inside the suppressor if it came off the barrel threads.
