OG .223?

I love the ab a-10 for 5.56 use.
The AB-10 is an example where they make a specific 5.56 can that is smaller, but apparently louder than their 7.62 version. As suppressors become more available and cheaper and people buy them to live on a specific gun, I’m assuming that we will see more optimization of smaller bore cans.

I have a 556/6mm polonium but have never had an opportunity to compare to the 30 caliber polonium. I also have a Noah ti that is 6mm. I don’t notice them being any different in sound suppression than say a EVO nomad ti scythe or gen 2 ultra 7. Those are all obviously muzzle forward cans. I would be real curious to see how a OTB smaller caliber would compare. The 6.5 sounds cool from what has been posted but also makes you wonder if a 22 or 24 caliber would be even better? Pretty cool to have all this stuff coming to market.

6mm to 6.5mm using a 18” 6cm was 1 dBA on average quieter. And day to day that changed. Does not seem to be enough to warrant a 6mm with any current design.
