I just re-read Jordans description. I saw the zippers running up each side and assumed they met under the folded flap for a panel opening.

Active hoody from Sitka. Polartec Alpha Direct insulation, much lighter than the Active jacket material since it doesn't have the liner .

I'm just looking today for the most part, not been taking a lot of pics. Lot of changes to their whitetail line, the rain gear. First Lite has their new stuff here. What are you looking for in particular?

Thanks for the shots, I really dig alpha direct so I will probably pick this up to try, but really wish they made a full sleeves option.

just wrapped up a membership to the sheep foundation and <1 club. fingers crossed.

can someone swing by sitka and see what is replacing the dewpoint series ? and if they plan on bringing back the gore socks ?

and anything new clothing wise from first lite ? I thought I saw a reinforced pant on IG. A somewhat beefed up Obsidian pant would be great.

Just from talking with someone at Sitka I gather they are making something kind of between cloudburst and dewpoint. Little heavier and more durable face fabric than dewpoint and more features but fewer features and lighter than cloudburst. 16 or 17 ounces if I recall correct.

Would be nice if this is basically an uninsulated, lighter, more breathable version of the briksdal. Does look a little shorter.

I totally agree. I started paying attention to the shows last year and it seems like that was a bad year to start. Lots of build ups and leaks and sneak peaks and then then this year, it’s like they’re not even trying lol.
