Official Rokslide Group Buy - Unknown Suppressors OG-6S

Not when they ate knocking 20% off and they give you another option to pay. I believe our website is charged 2.6% plus a small fee for online transactions. Soooo they may be pocketing an extra $5 @ 3.5% Shipping is $10 for 2 day air and I'm sure they are losing a few bucks there. Petty shit to be complaining about IMO...
It’s a legit reason for some people to get “Irked” about, however as a business owner it’s a tricky situation. Charge the customer the CC fee, while giving them other means to pay as well, or literally eat thousands, if not tens of thousands a year for a medium size company in transaction fees.

I’ve gone both routes with my small service business and have settled on charging a CC fee if the customer does not want to pay by cheque or cash. The last year I ate the fees, it cost $5k out of my earnings to cover what is generally only a minor inconvenience to an individual customer.

If only they gave him a reasonable way to avoid the 3.5% like the rest of us got maybe he wouldn’t be annoyed.

I haven't had a check book in 15 years. So I'd have to go to the bank and get a check and then mail it off. Driving truck OTR isn't conducive to you folks with a stay at home life.

Should have asked if they would take a comchek then!

3.5% cc processing fee is pretty lame. But I'm paid
Exactly what I charge customers of my business who elect to pay via CC. Cause that's what the CC company charges me to process the payment. ( I think it's like 3.25%) It's not like the business is taking that fee, it's the cost paid by the business, to the CC company, who is taking that fee for processing the payment. Consumers have become accustomed to the convenience of CC payments, and the processors make a TON of $ across the economy 3ish% at a time. It's pretty much baked into the price of 90+% of the things you purchase on a weekly basis.
I prefer to have the price set as low as possible, and if people want the convenience of using a CC, they can pay the fees.

As Ben notes above, I could bake the fees into my pricing and most people wouldn't think twice, or I can save 99% of my customers who elect to pay with Cash, check, or zelle transfers that 3.5%

I mailed in a check to US and it saved me ~$45. which I thought was well worth the effort to cut a check and mail it in. I appreciate the option.

Visa is the bad guy, take it up with them

What Visa Does
Visa is a world leader in digital payments, facilitating transactions between consumers, sellers, financial institutions, and government entities across more than 200 countries and territories.
Crucially, Visa does not issue credit cards or lend money. Instead, it operates the network that sits between your bank and a merchant’s bank when you swipe your card. Every time you pay with a Visa card, Visa’s network processes the transaction and takes a small fee. Banks pay Visa for access to this network, and Visa charges fees based on payment volume, number of transactions, and cross-border activity.
How Much They Make
The numbers are staggering:
• Full-year 2025 net revenue was $40 billion, an increase of 11% over the prior year.
• GAAP net income for the full year was $20.1 billion.
That’s roughly a 50% profit margin — one of the highest of any large company on earth. For context, most retailers operate on margins of 2–5%.
Why the Margins Are So High
Visa’s business is essentially a toll road. Once the network is built, each additional transaction costs almost nothing to process. They don’t take on credit risk (that’s the bank’s job), they don’t hold customer deposits, and they don’t deal with fraud losses directly. They just collect fees on an ever-growing volume of global card transactions.

I got no problem with businesses charging cc fees as it is an added expense but only charging them when something is on sale when you normally don't is a little odd...
I'd be all for some better options. I know some businesses do ach transactions.

I'm definitely stoked to try out the OG6 and will offer my thoughts on comparison to a few short list contenders around the forum (OG6.5, ZG7, Nano) with both .223 and .243

I got to go visit mine in jail today. Such a nicely finished product. Between that and fondling some of the Rokstock Lites, it got my brain turning for a new build.

I am looking forward to trying mine. US reached out for payment and a copy of my guy's SOT yesterday evening. Hopefully it ships soon.

No issues with the CC fee. I charge a 3% fee to my customers who choose to pay with a card.

Ordered two. For now, going on 223 and 243 20" Tikkas. I like the idea of dedicated shorter overall length. Sent a check. I know that my SOT information has been received. Seems to be a seamless process so far. Thanks to Ben for heading this up.

Sounds like a few have gotten shipping notifications... I think they said they'd have the bulk of them shipped out by yesterday??

I just wanted to give a shout out to Chris and US customer service. I've been in contact with Chris a few times over the last week (adding an adapter to my order, linking my order to my new US account, and me being annoying and asking for timeline info today) and has responded within minutes each time has been extremely friendly and helpful. Thank for being awesome.

And just for everyone who has ordered, I placed my order on April 1st, my SOT was received the same day. Today Chris informed me they are waiting on a form two to fill out my form 3, and expects my suppressor ship out Friday.
