Official Rokslide Group Buy - Unknown Suppressors OG-6S

Why would someone get in on this instead of wait for the real world comparisons to come out between this and the Airlock 6mm in a few months? Seems like the Airlocks beat the UM cans across the board on dB ratings, especially since the talking points on these have changed to "tone" instead of just dB numbers. They only add what, 1/2 to 1" over the otb UMs?

Is $200 really enough savings to end up with something that chances are will perform worse?

Has always been tone for us! Sorry you don't like our products. This one as with the others probably isn't for you!

Do they? What you are seeing are numbers being put up by meters that do not have the sample rate required to definitively state anything. The Spartan meter is unreliable at best below the low to mid 130’s- which is obvious when companies are posting dB numbers that are the same as dry fire.

I’ve shot and been around the Airlock 6.5- it sounds good. But it isn’t magical- it has a different sound than most cans for sure. No cans are magical.

I’ve spoken with Danny quite a bit and have hung out with him- and have told him anything he has asked about, and everything I have told other companies- do not incorrectly believe there is bias here. There is no functional differences between any of the good cans in actual use from a sound perspective- people that actually use cans and have a lot of experience doing so, give way less care about an arbitrary dB number- especially ones that aren’t real, than they do other aspects once the cans meter in the mid 130’s and below. It is the people that sit and dork out believing 1-2 dB(A) actually mean anything, and those same people are believing numbers posted that are quieter than the action cycling or dry fire.

Some people don’t want fat cans. Some people don’t want cans that don’t run well on gas guns. Some people don’t want cans that are high back pressure. Etc, etc, etc.

Nothing has changed from US. Lie better.

US also states the upper end of worse of what their cans meter. I have 90 rounds metering the OG6-S in ten round strings. US could rightly state that the can averages 127-128 dB(A) because it has for 3x 10 round strings. It also averaged 133 dB(A) for one of those 10 shot strings. However, the upper end of ā€œworseā€ has been 131 +/- dB(A)- US will not say that the can meters 128dB- when they could like most others.
