I brushed off the threads pretty aggressively with a wire brush, it threaded on smoothly after that thankfully. What’s the best way to go about cleaning out the shavings? Air compressor or brush?

Make it to fit .900 Barrel Please, & have a smaller Diameter Than my 6.5 Reaper & I’ll buy one & the 4” Reaper22 with reflex.Yes thanks again! Now on to the og22 group by?

That Berger 108 EH ammo is always slow. Shoots lights out, great brass and components, tight spreads, but lethargic speeds.I ordered some factory Berger 108 EH 6CM rounds from Euro Optics and shot them for the first time through the US 6-S threaded on my Ruger American Gen 1 6CM and it seems like a good match although a little slow @ 2732 fps on 5. I will shoot a 10 round group for zero and then take this combo out to 700 to verify.
I really want to get a nice 6CM but find it hard to do when my cheap one (Ruger American Predator Gen 1 in a KRG Bravo Chassis topped with a Crimson Trace FFP 4x16 that failed the drop test) shoots this well. I'll just wait for a Tikka 6CM for now...

I'll try to hit all the points as I was trying to get caught up on this thread, apologize for being absent.
Thank you Ben for putting this on! This far exceeded our expectations and I honestly thought Chris was going to quit over it. The amount of work that this group buy created is staggering (not a complaint, I appreciate all you guys!)
It keeps coming up so I will address it, 90% sure the OG22 is coming, it will be a 4x4 format as its purpose is for max suppression on everyone's 223 trainers and the dudes running 22cm. The reason we haven't done it yet is we are trying to get through the OG6S and OG30 development. I do not have a timeline for it but my guess would be late this summer? possibly this fall? it depends on if we have time to work on it more. We need to create and prove out a better system for processing orders generated by a group buy because it was too much leg work on Chrises part.
As far as 1/2-28 threads goes, we can't do it. the threads are just too small to be done that far down into a reflex. When initially proposed SRS wasn't even excited about doing 5/8-24 threads and they had to make custom tooling. We used a tap to thread a bunch of the early prototypes, that was a nightmare.
For the guys with bigger barrels, we have a 4" 6.5mm reaper coming out in August (hopefully) that can be paired up with a reflex. Long story but it is difficult to clean out OG65 OG6S etc but it is a whole other level cleaning out an OGL. this is one of the many reasons we have decided to replace it with a two piece set.
We apologize to anyone that gets a can with titanium powder or chips in them. The amount of energy we put into cleaning the cans out (they get cleaned out in 4 different steps) it is very discouraging for them to arrive to you guys and have them still have powder and chips in them. What we do with our prototypes (no one spends any meaningful amount of time cleaning them) is we blow the threads off so they are clean, then we screw them on a rifle and shoot, generally after 10-15 rounds you have most of the good stuff blown out. Where we have seen issues and where we have had customers have issues is if they get loose powder on the threads of the can then forcefully thread it on a rifle. once this happens there is no gorilla with a strap wrench or channel locks that can get it off. If you are screwing it on and it feels gritty at all stop and either blow the threads off with air, or get a chamber cleaning brush or something and brush the threads clean. One hot tip, if you know there is loose powder in the can, don't tip the can up, keep the threads above the body of the can and they should stay clean.
Anyone that has already gotten their 6S please share your experience and whatever you compared it to! We love to hear the feedback!

No need to apologize, it's gonna happen now and then. To add insult to injury, poor Chris is getting to process and ship mine twice. Between me paying for the order and it shipping out my chosen sot closed down due to a building fire, Im still not sure if it’s permanent or temporary, but regardless fedex was unable to deliver and had to return it.We need to create and prove out a better system for processing orders generated by a group buy because it was too much leg work on Chrises part.
He is a rock star but he is spread pretty thin these days!To add insult to injury, poor Chris is getting to process and ship mine twice. Chris has been phenomenal in keeping me updated and being on the ball with the paperwork to get it shipped out to a different sot asap. He has definitely turned a crappy situation into not as big of a problem as I expected.
Shot my 6s this morning on my 223. Same poi as with my og6.5. Really like this 6s. Very much contemplating getting another for my 6prc. Pretty much perfect for my hunting need. Or do I wait for the 22 for the trainer and put the current 6s on the prc. First world problems. Love the otb suppressors and Beverly much appreciate the group buy. Oh and mine spun on with zero grit at all.He is a rock star but he is spread pretty thin these days!
