If you’re hunting the more open areas get out to funnel points in the dark and let the hunters and few early hot does run stuff by you. If you’re in the timber areas walk slow keep your head up.
I live in Alberta in the same prarie type habitat. I would pay attention once you have found does, there will be bucks not far away. I see this happen every year in bow season, ours ends at the end of October. I start seeing bucks come out of the wood work the last 10 days or so.
