I coach high school wrestling, so I don’t even get to see the end of hunting season here in NY. My season pretty much ends opening weekend of rifle season. But that’s okay, I’d rather be in the woods with my bow, anyway.
Anyway, wrestling ends in February, this spring I have jumped into studying for the professional engineering exam right afterwards (too many years over due). I sit for the exam in 2 weeks. In the background, I have been gathering all I need to put food plots in at my families camp.
Planning 2 acres of grains and peas that will be planted into brassicas in mid-August, an acre of soybean, 2 acres of clover and an acre of sunflowers. I also bought 100 conifers and 100 hardwood seedlings from the County Soil and Water to plant on our property. Going to be a busy spring.
Hoping to get some turkey hunting in this spring on the property as well.
Blue is clover. Green is grains and peas, as well as soybean. Yellow is sunflowers.
