how do you get in the inner circle

You have to know the secret handshake ;)

Don't forget sandsarchery is going to have a similar huge sale in the next week or 2 on their First Lite gear. The Corrugate pants are the best overall hunting pants I've ever owned..

I have the Guide pants but for cold I greatly prefer the Sitka Timberline pants with suspenders. I wear that and the Kuiu merino zip tee when hiking/stalking and throw on a Guide jacket for still hunting down to 40* w/o wind. Then I switch to a Jetstream jacket and Kelvin vest.

FYI I just hit the site today and was surprised at stock levels in certain sizes. I am a 34 in pants, large in jacket and medium or large in layers. I would suggest shopping early!

Attacks with merino long johns for the mornings, then strip off the long johns mid morning or early afternoon should do the trick.

Why would you strip off your base layer?? When I'm hunting, my base layers stay on the entire time I'm out there....even sleep in them. They work great at getting the sweat away from my skin. There's nothing worse than sweating like crazy and not having a good base layer between my skin and pants/shirt.

I've done it before if it gets super hot during the day and cold at night, like in the desert. But ya, 90% of the time I don't. Guess it depends on scenario

The hotter it gets, the more I'm sweating. And the more I'm sweating, the more I want my base layers. Can't stand that clammy wet feel of sweat all over my skin.

Hehe, your in a good place for that! I just got back from a CO Elk hunt and I don't think I sweated once! In Houston, I start sweating walking between my house and my car to go to work every morning. Guess I'm just used to it

While this is my first year in KUIU I have ran Sitka Ascents for years which are very similar to the attacks. With some good base pants I can wear my Ascents down to 10 degrees on a physical hunt and be totally comfortable.

I would look at it more as do I want to bow hunt or gun hunt more in my pants? September elk is my deal so I opted for lighter pants and just layer up.

Yeah looks like inventory is taking a hit from the inner circle. Two items I wanted are already out of stock as of today. Hoping inventory levels hold on until tomorrow.

Literally out of almost everything I wanted. I got a few items in the shopping cart fortunately. I hope they dump a big load of inventory out tomorrow morning.

I wanted some Northstar gloves and a brown jacket. Had to settle for the Yukon Pro gloves and got the brown guide jacket.

I have used the Attack pants from 90's in August to 30's in November (active hunting) and liked them. I switched to the Alpine pants this year and like them more for the warmer temps.

Well, they had the 3 items I really wanted 3 days ago, but now they are all out of them. This is typical! Sounds like another sales ploy. Would people really buy all these items 3 days before a 30% discount? Man!! Ya killing me!! Ha!

I got a pair of attacks in verde(really wanted major brown, but not too picky) a pair of tiburon pants in major brown, two long sleeve Merino T's in solids and some other assorted stuff to get to $300.

I am in the inner circle, but don't know what the criteria is. Nobody ever shook my hand, so I don't know the secret handshake. Really haven't spent that much(in relative terms), maybe a grand over two years, so the threshold must not be that high.

Not sure about overall inventory levels, but I randomly placed about $1500 worth of clothing (that's all I buy from KUIU) in my cart and everything was in stock as of 2 pm...sizes M-XL depending. Anyway I ended up with a full set of Yukon and some other clothing...didn't spend all that much money and came away in good shape. Saving 30% and the shipping charges is a pretty good deal.

Inner Circle... so much for "Total transparency". I don't mind rewarding your loyal customers as many companies do, but if your company motto is transparency, then just be open and up-front about it. How are they doing the inner circle: by account or coupon code?

For those that have the merino zip off bottoms. I'm trying to decide between the 145's and 210's to wear under the attack pants.

I currently wear size 36 attack pants with some room and was looking at large zip-offs, well 145's are already sold out. Are the 210's to heavy or would be fine?

Or are the mediums have enough stretch that they would fit well.
