I shot my goat with 270 WSM (I would have preferred a 300) with 140 gr. Nosler Accubonds. 1 shot kill at 280 yards.

I have never hunted a goat, but I have shot a few critters with accubonds, they are great bullets!

I don't know anything about sheep however this was a 228 yard shot on my mule deer (spine). 30-06 165 grain accubond.

I’ve shot 3 black bears with 180 gr. Accubond. All 3 were 1 shot kills. They are a excellent bullet. That is my primary big game bullet.

I've shot a whole bunch of stuff with Accubonds...a 180AB in the 300 is a deadly combo for any N.American game and most of the stuff found everywhere else.

dam you guys are freaking me out about the ABLR! have a load in my 280ai shooting the 168 in the .2s behind 62 grains of h1000 havent chromo'd yet my buddy has incredible luck with it in his 6.5x284 and others raved about it on elk now wonder if just best for long range and thin skin stuff or make sure its not too hot. I could always go to a 160 AB I guess but I been hearing nightmare stories on them in terms of poor wound channels past 450..guess as they say one doesn't do it all?
