Anyone use this ammo? I just grabbed a couple boxes to run through a new tikka. It was on sale at bi mart and just grabbed 2 boxes on the way home.

I have not shot a 223 in years but it looks to me like the bullets are seated deep?

I couldn’t pull anything up on this site but there were a couple Reddit threads from years ago. Anyway thought I’d ask

The 69 grain golden target did pretty well in my rough tech ranch, I may have posted a pic in the 10 shot group thread. I'll look for it. That rifle gets more accurate with more rounds down it, I'll need to shoot it again.

Raven Rocks precision sells it for about $0.75/per round.

Alos curious. 50 cents a round right now is as cheap as the Frontier 68gr 5.56, which shoots only OK out of my Tikka.

I have really liked this stuff so just ordered 1k of them. Here are two groups from this weekend. Note you guys will get better results I’m not good and shooting prone off pack racking and shooting mirage be damned. Bonus is I’m keeping the brass for future reloads. Chrono was dead so I did not get a chance to get speed. 16.5” T3x.

It was pretty “meh” in my 20” barrel Tikka Ranahan. 2800fps and 1.5-2MOA groups. I don’t think the BC is very good either based on drops.

Mine likes Sierra 77gr a lot better. Even the 55gr Frontier shot better than the Norma.
