non factory coyote calibers

Hello all,
I'm reloading for coyote hunting and currently and shooting a 6.5 grendel with night vision. Looking to build a rifle for daytime hunting. Bolt action or AR platform doesn't matter to me, but was wondering what's out there for "fun" calibers to reload for? Not saving hides just want them dead. Preferably something I can get factory brass for. been reloading for about a year now. Thank in advance.

Its hard to beat Grendel, 6arc is almost too close, but I think its a little better overall. The new 22arc has me thinking about converting one my 6arcs over.

Just ordered a prefit for a 22GT

Alpha makes brass for it. Hoping for 80-88s around 3000

Some guys using it for PRS. A bunch for yotes. Comparable to the 22 creed. A touch slower

I was just playing with my 20 practical. I squish 223 brass through a lee collet die, add a tiny bit of powder with a super cheap bullet and......pow! Damn near 4k fps and accurate as hell. This is easily the cheapest gun you can own.

Shoot a .17 tac and a 22-243. Both are pretty simple and work good for coyote. I shoot 95 smk’s out of the 22-243 @ 3150. The 17 shoots 27 grain woodchuck den boatails at 3900.

The 6X45 as stated (6mm-223) earlier is one I have thought long and hard about. I have a friend that runs one in a contender frame pistol for coyotes and loves it. You also have a wide range of bullet weights from the 58gr V-Max up to around the 100gr. depending on twist rate. He said its a very easy round to load for and has found it to not be finicky at all. The other plus is you will likely never have to worry about brass ever. If you do run out just swing by a local shooting area and you will likely be back in the game again. Gotta love the AR shooters. They usually leave you neat little piles of 30 pieces at a time...

I also have a .20 practical. I shoot benchmark with 40 gr Bergers and it kills coyotes.

I have a 22-250 ackley and a .223 ackley as well. I think they are fun cartridges

Have a look at a 6x6.8. Easy to load for using 6.8 spc brass with just a simple neck down with dies you can order from Hornady.
I’m getting 3150 using a Nosler 70gr. BT. I also killed a 7pt buck a couple years ago at 275 yards with an 80gr TTSX. It also shoots Nosler 55gr Varmageddon really well.

Used to run a 22 grendel before arc was a whisper, now that 22 arc is coming around brass will be easy and you can get some great ballistics with it either in a bolt or ar platform.

22 creedmoor is very easy to find components for as well as many others. Maybe s 22xc would be easy to do as well

Have looked at 20 tactical or practical before, I just can't trust 20 cal for big open.

For an ar a 22 hagar or 22 nosgar should be Fast.

Thats a dated cop out, you have multiple really good brass companies anymore that make tuff consistent brass.
