Non-dialing Scopes

Need a new scope, looking to spend up to $1k. Have no need to dial, max shots are under 400 yards. Variable power is a must, not interested in fixed power. Tasco and vortex have been eliminated already...
What's your suggestion?

Trijicon accupoint. 2.5-12.5 mil dot is a personal favorite for those uses.
