Non-cellular Game Camera Preferences?

I just got a Moultrie Mobile Micro-42i for $40 or so for the same reason as you. So far, it takes gorgeous daytime photos, but the nighttime ones can be blurry if the animal is moving. But, it suits my needs so far and I'll likely pick up another one for scouting.
Sorry! it was $62.

I have used quite a few different makes and models and settled on the Gardepro E5S, I have 6 of them and they are my favorite for both pics and videos. If a sale happens on Amazon, you can get them in the $20-$30 range. Some of them are 3 years old and still running great. The ONLY con I have had with them is the wind noise in video mode. I tried to load a video but the system didn't like the file name.

Another vote for GardePro cams. I also use the E5S model and have replaced all my Browning cams for them. Great photos w/sound for the price. Thinking about giving their cell cams a try next.

I've been gradually adding GardePro cams to the pile and quit buying other brands. I actually have an A-5 showing up today. I live in the PNW, most annual rainfall in the country and was curious when I read the word "waterproof" and went for it. None have failed. Unless you are nearby and can charge the battery pack, get the ones that run on AA batteries. Left one out-of-state OCT-MAR where it's cold and snow and battery was 80% when I retrieved it. I have a discount code if anyone likes saving money. Use Code VET15 for 15% off, should work on sales items as well. Link below
