This is the answer.I use ISOtunes. They are like a foam earplug but with the small hole so you can listen to your music. I use them when mowing, chainsaw, blowing, weedwacker and even for shooting
Big fan of the Sony WH-1000. Excellent sound quality and noise cancellation. Problem is I got so used to the noise canceling that I wear them almost constantly and have a serious aversion to noise pollution. Like grocery stores seem too noisy to me now![]()
I got a couple pairs of Beats on Amazon on sale for $169. They do work awesome! I did see the new Apple ones have a bigger ear hole, could be nice...Wondering what everyone would suggest a good pair of noise canceling headphones?
I have some JBL noise canceling headphones that are starting to get a lot of interference when mowing.
Not really looking to spend $300 on Beats, they will just be used while mowing the lawn and chainsaw work.
Correct.This is the answer.
Noise cancelling headphones or earbuds DO NOT protect your hearing. Stop using them when you need hearing protection.
I use these at work. I didn’t like them at first because they limit the volume. But after using them for a year or two it’s actually kinda nice. Volume on the phone all the way up and it’s still hearing safe. The down side is my phone keeps telling me to turn the volume down.I use ISOtunes.
