Wondering what everyone would suggest a good pair of noise canceling headphones?
I have some JBL noise canceling headphones that are starting to get a lot of interference when mowing.
Not really looking to spend $300 on Beats, they will just be used while mowing the lawn and chainsaw work.

I broke down and bought the Anker Soundcore Q20i as a cheap pair. Noise cancellation is decent and battery life is really good. Would definitely recommend them

Same. I've probably had 5-6 pair of them over the years (I inevitably lose one at some point) and they are really good for the cost. They are my go to ear plugs for doing chain saw work these days.

I also have Apple Air Pod Max that I got as a gift from work, they are awesome but I would NEVER spend $500 to have a pair, so overpriced.

I borrowed my daughters Bose last night and again today on a run, first time ever with noise canceling, read this post and went out and mowed the lawn then ran the weed blower.
I'm a believer but they're $360 on BestBuy.

I bought a pair of Powerbeats Pro 2 about a year ago and have been very happy with them. Apple owns Beats so any tech in Apple are in the Beats as well. I lost my Airpod Pros but they were not as comfortable as the Powerbeats. Can't give a recommendation for over the ear.

look into Aeropex aftershox. They aren’t noice canceling but they are designed for exercise so water doesn’t bother them, and you just put earplugs in and use these in addition. They are perfect for running bc you can hear ambient noise, but put earplugs in and you can’t hear ambient noice but you can hear music.

ETA - I have both NC for airplanes, etc, and aftershox for outside.

Big fan of the Sony WH-1000. Excellent sound quality and noise cancellation. Problem is I got so used to the noise canceling that I wear them almost constantly and have a serious aversion to noise pollution. Like grocery stores seem too noisy to me now 😅

Bose are great for noise cancelling.

Shokz (use to be aeropex aftershocks) are my favorite, but the opposite of noise cancelling.

Get Bluetooth capable ear pro for mowing the lawn. https://noisyworld.org/bluetooth-hearing-protection-earmuffs/

I fell in love with Bose when I was issued a pair 16 years ago. Had to turn them back in, but finally bought some several years back.

For yardwork I'd get ear pro with Bluetooth. I have 3M Peltor 500s. I'm just listening to podcasts most the time while mowing and weedeating. Maybe the audio quality isn't there if you're listening to music? Sometimes I'll wear my Samsung galaxy 2 ear buds under non electronic ear pro and that's a good combination too.
