Orange doesn't stop bullets...interesting how Idaho has no orange requirement as compared to Montana and I would bet the accidental shootings during hunting season are similar statistically...if you just follow the 3 simple rules it solves most of the problems with gun safety...Good for Colorado for making the right choice.
Clarification? This thread, https://www.rokslide.com/forums/threads/archery-changes-to-colorado-gmus-80-81-14-214.248709/ (blue link in first post) indicates fluorescent is required during the overlapping dates for muzzleloader and archery season. The link document is dated Dec 30, 2021. How can the issue be tabled Wednesday (as referenced in this thread) if it was already in place? Thanks in advance for any info, apologies if I missed something.
CBA had a huge role in this. The Commission respects the CBA and staffers have noted this many times. A high ranking CDOW official (before the name changed to CPW) told me once that if it wasnt6for the "damned CBA" they would be able to get archers and MLs crammed into one ten day season and be done with it.
Also, the 80% letoff rule was eliminated , making about half the bowhunters in CO legal again..
