Cut your QLA off or use a sub base of some kind.I want to try these in my omega but worried they won’t shoot good. Had some years ago I tried in two different muzzleloaders and best groups were 4”
I shot a 15" group at 500yds last week with a 420gr .503" in a 7mph breeze. The target was very hard to see as it was a 12" black circle and I was shooting irons. How is the accuracy on these at ranges out to 200-250
What is the gun and load data. I have a sample pack on the way for sizing purposes.I shot a 15" group at 500yds last week with a 420gr .503" in a 7mph breeze. The target was very hard to see as it was a 12" black circle and I was shooting irons.
Ive had 200yd groups that will make typical rifle guys jealous.
Did you shoot that moose in CO back in about 2021? In a unit that starts with 4? If so I think we met at the trailhead the night before opening day. My buddy had the elk tag that year and we were camped right by you.
@cnelk nice expansion! do you know your muzzle velocity and what the estimated impact velocity was?My 2024 bull with a 420gr bullet
I recovered the slug on the opposite side hip as it was a quartering to uphill shot. Bull only went 75yds
I just weighed the bullet - 405gr retention
