NM Auodad Upcoming

Heading out 1st week of December for Auodad. I have never hunted them and I'm excited to give it a shot! I'll be in the desert which is comfortable for me but I do think it will be cold! Hopefully not too windy... I'll let ya'll know how it goes!

A lot of possibilities weather wise, could be frozen could be perfect or both in the same day!

Seems like I always end up out there in Jan. or Feb.,,,,always cold.

Well the hunt was fun but I ate the tag. Had I hunted longer then my odds would have improved but I had an elk hunt that overlapped. I hunted 4 days then headed up to the Gila. All in all I can say I'll definitely hunt these bad boys again. I'll probably try to go horseback though there is just so much ground to cover.
