Nikon Monarch HG?

I’m considering a $1K price point 8x42. I’ve had good luck with Zeiss Conquests but the 8x42 does have a smaller angular FOV.

Anyone own or did own the Monarch HGs? The viewing angle is very impressive for its class.

I had the monarch hg 10s for a little bit and didn’t like the view they gave. That’s being a bit snobby, but the CA was very high IMO and they didn’t seem to have the center sharpness of meostar I was comparing them to. For that price range I’d go with used ultravid or meostar.
